Professor Rana Munns is an honorary fellow at CSIRO Agriculture in Canberra, and professor in the School of Plant Biology, and the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant Energy Biology, at the University of Western Australia. She uses physiological insights and molecular genetics to improve growth and yield of crop plants in dry or saline soils. Rana is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, and an editor of PrometheusWiki, the plant methods wiki (http://www.publish.csiro.au/prometheuswiki).
